Vampires

Deadfall

Your vampire no longer takes falling damage. They always land on their feet unless dazed. On top of that they seem to take no damage upon landing. Some might explain this as a strange magic of their own, others just call it bothersome. In the process of learning this ability, the vampire’s concentration levels are challenged.

Costs: 1 Intellect

Spawn Swarm

Female vampires can lay strange, amber eggs on the ceilings of dark dwellings. Male vampires can steal these eggs by spraying his blood upon them and claiming the spawn as his own. In times of great peril, the vampire can screech for their spawn to awaken. They will arrive within 1d2+1 posts and deal 1d10+3 damage to the most convenient enemy surrounding the vampire. They look like Hellish bats and immediately fly back to the dwelling after one attack. Can only be done once a day.

Costs: 1 Stamina

Kiss of Death

The vampire can bite the lips of their target and inflict a temporary curse that will turn them undead for one day. Their heart will stop, by all perceivable means they appear to be dead. However, they can still function as a zombie if they want to. After the day is up, the target will take their first breath of air and resume their former livelihood. Whilst dead, the target will assume all the racial bonuses of a zombie and lose all the racial bonuses of their original race.

Costs: 1 Charisma

Bloodpact

Your vampire has made a bloodpact with someone living. This bloodpact involves ‘blessing’ the chosen person’s blood by giving them a microdose of your vampire’s curse. It’s not enough to turn them, but it’s enough to make them immune to being cursed by your vampire. In return, your vampire will be healed twice as much whenever they feed from this particular person. The bloodpact can be changed to another person once a month.

Costs: 1 Strength
